Style. It's definitely something all artists struggle with at some point in their development, trying to determine their identity as an artist. There is no question that I want to be a cartoonist, using a minimalist approach, with an economy of line. It's not as easy as I thought it would be. I am realizing that it takes a lot of skill to communicate an image properly, while also being visually striking, with the use of a few lines. That's the goal of this journey, to come up with a unique, distinctive style, that I can call my own. Wish me luck.
